American Journalists Sentenced in North Korea

I'm sure this is big news back in the states, but here are some links to learn more. It all looks like it might be an attempt by North Korea to use the two women as negotiating tools for aid and sanctions relief. Either way, despite the bold moves by the reporters to enter the country illegally, this is pretty harsh news and, for the women, a terrifying future. No doubt, envoys will begin soon to try an obtain their release, but in the meantime, North Korea holds two valuable chips for gambling on getting what they want. I'll keep you posted.
